The meetings took place in the auditorium of the association of university professors of santa maria (apusm) with professionals in the field and students of medicine, biology and computer science.
The public health researcher at iam – fiocruz pernambuco gabriel wallau, who is also one of those responsible for teaching the course, explained why the initiative was necessary in santa maria: “these activities are very important to prepare the city and the state with the latest control technologies to be able to combat the increasingly large outbreaks that have been occurring in the region”.
